On November 26, 2020 tenor Beniamino Gigli appeared from the first time at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC as Faust in Boito’s Mefistofele conducted by Roberto Moranzoni and directed by Samuel Thewman. He stayed at the Met until 1932.
