Inspired by the cultures of the romantic languages, Canciones y Poemas is a textured exploration of Italian and Spanish verismo and folk songs.

Starring in this concert will be Ricardo Garcia, the winner of “Role Debut” in our 2020 Giovanni Consiglio International Competition and a rising star in the operatic world, and Soprano Sylvia D’Eramo who is in the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program with the Metropolitan Opera. They will be joined on the piano by Howard Watkins from the Metropolitan Opera.
