The Program

We are excited to introduce Patron & Public Appreciation Days—a new initiative designed to bring our patrons and the wider public closer to the heart of our artistic work. During select rehearsals and post-performance events, we open our doors to invite you into the creative process: step behind the scenes, meet our artists, and engage in meaningful conversations with our creative team.

Guests will enjoy a refreshing (non-alcoholic) beverage as they observe how each production takes shape, discover how artistic decisions evolve, and take part in informal discussions led by members of our communications and artistic production teams. On other occasions, you’ll be welcomed after a performance for an intimate meet-and-greet with the artists.

Dates

Be on the lookout for registration links to our inaugural events, tied to our 2026 productions of Joseph Summer’s The Tempest, W.A. Mozart’s Così fan tutte, and our double-bill of Joshua Daniel Nichols’ Jefferson Lives! and Giacomo Puccini’s Suor Angelica:

Saturday, July 12, 2026, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Ellen Steward Theater at La MaMa
66 E 4th St, New York, NY

Join us for a sneak peak behind the curtain: an early dress rehearsal of The Tempest, followed by an hour of discussion (with lovely refreshments!) in the lobby with the opera’s director, Stefanos Koroneos, its assistant director, Gregory Pernicone, TG’s artistic administrator, Hilary Baboukis, and set designer Oscar Escobedo.

Tuesday, July 14, 2026, 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Ellen Steward Theater at La MaMa
66 E 4th St, New York, NY

Enjoy an early-stage dress rehearsal of Così fan tutte featuring exciting young artists from our partner, Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy, followed by a conversation (and a delightful, non-alcoholic beverage!) with the production’s director, Cate Pisaroni, its conductor, Abdiel Vázquez, and TG’s artistic administrator, Hilary Baboukis, as well as other artists and creatives from the team.

Our event for Jefferson Lives! and Suor Angelica will take place in early November, with a date to be announced shortly!
